Personally I think this would have to be a table on bricks or a table with high legs otherwise there would be some really bad crouched over and uncomfortable taiji.

I am not opposed to low stance training like ma bu, gong bu, shi bu, pu bu, ect.

"Sung" word in taijiquan practice

Is there not a saying somewhere that Yang Chen fu would repeately tell his students to say the word "sung" constantly during practice.... almost as if it was a taoist mantra to be said 1000 times a day?

The gentleman first on the left side behind Fu Sheng Yuan I believe is Li Zhang, a proponet of the "Imperial Court Yang taijiquan" when Yang Lu chan was teaching in Beijing.

A few years ago Saihung Kwan, the 'wandering taoist' was doing seminars around the country. He was teaching a taiji ruler exercises he claims he learned from Yang Chen fu.
