Hello Audi,

Always nice to hear from you and read your posts.

Just an FYI regarding the your comment about the Yang Zhenji Tai Chi Dao video

This is basically the form that we do; although it is interesting to see the small differences.
I’ve seen and have been taught several small differences that I’ve seen in older Yang Family students Dao forms. At the 0:43 – 0:48 mark in the Yang Zhenji Tai chi Dao video you are referring to, I’ve seen this move done by Tungs, and by Fu Zhongwen’s son and others.

On another note, here's a video of Tung Hu ling performing Tung Family Fast Form.

Hi BB,

Hmmm, I think this seems pretty close to what we do. :? There is a different energy usage before the turn (Pushing the Canoe with the Current) and different orientations, but I can pretty much follow move for move. To me the most different place is at 0:32-0:36, where we have a thrust and a leap instead of the turn. We also use a different type of Dao that is straighter and narrower.

Take care,
Audi
