Thomas, I really don't care what Erle Montaigue posts on his site - don't know him, don't train in his system. My issue was the way that you posted and then reacted to views that weren't in line with yours. You came across as: believe this, it's true, take my word! I know! Erle knows! As far as my t...

Ok, so, we're supposed to empty our cups so you can fill them with your concerns for our health? Gee, thanks. I am quite able to decide for myself what is good for my health and what is not. I don't actually happen to train the 24 or 48 forms. But, that doesn't mean they are bad for people. If you'r...

For what it's worth, I found that Kalamondin's reply worked very well. I took off as much rust as possible with the fine sandpaper then used a gun-barrel treatment that you spray on and wipe off. The sabre's blade looks great and I haven't had to re-treat it since. Respectfully, Michael [This messag...

yslim, Bob: You're welcome! I'm glad you found the list useful. You will have to get either Jerry, Audi, or Louis to weigh in on the correct pronounciations. The few phrases I know in Chinese are spoken with a heavy American accent and probably make little sense to a true speaker... http://www.yangf...

Where is the Teacher's Database?

I have been wondering where the Teacher's Database is. It was a great resource to have. Are there any plans to link it back to the site?

Thanks,
Michael

Greetings Joe,
The application of the hook hand that I was taught was that it's a throat strike. I'm sure that's one of many applications for the move.

Respectfully,

Bob,
Funny. That's exactly what I did during my test: the form at warp speed.

When I was ending the first section, all the excitement and anticipation and adrenaline that I had supressed in the hour before testing surfaced and I took off.

Literally.

Respectfully,
Michael

Ok, here goes... I could be completely wrong, but, this is the way I look at it: Sticking really only has one meaning in this context, that being, to literally stick to your opponent. Adhering, or to adhere, has a few meanings, one of which is to "stick to". But, the two other definitions ...
