Tai Chi and the Deaf Culture...

Is anyone in a Tai Chi class with other deaf students? Or am I the first and only Deaf Student in the Arts?

The Cuts are all healed up, the bruise on my left leg still remains. *grins* I am still playing with the Katana and learning my lessons to make the katana a part of me :-D

well I know that the katana is not used in the tai chi forms, but i was just expermenting with the idea. The results were not good because of the slight hand injury so i stopped with this idea. Interesting thought, Although I am kind of impatient when I practice the moves and I tend to go fast or "Matrix Fast" but I have learned that if you want to experience Tai Chi to the max, it's better to go slow. :-D

First Deaf Tai Chi Chuan Student??

Hi,

I am a Deaf student taking Tai Chi Chuan here at San Antonio and I beleive that I am the first deaf student to take this class. I have learned 38/103 movements and I want to go all the way!!! If you are in the San Antonio Area, Let me know :-D
