Re: Ranking System
Hi Audi, How is it going? I really don,t mind sharing the misinformation which was revealed by spoken words from someone who spent most of his life in Chinese education. Not me. As for me, I am like a fish out of the water even when conversing in Mandrian. During one of our lessons in the Yang Cheng...

Just wanting to clarify the statement on ranking of the Yang Chengfu system. It was mentioned that one will be qualified to enter the ranking arena if one is 8 years and above. Now, what does this mean? Does it mean that a child who is 8 years and above and have been practicing yang Tai chi for one ...

Lao Pei,
Suddenly it makes sense. Thank you for the kind contribution.
Just like Bob, I will explore these techniques. Hope I don't hurt any one.
If I may add a thought, I feel the ribbons attached to the ring has a more deadly application.
It is an extention of the Dao.
Cheer.
Isaac

Re: Yang Family Dao Questions
Bob, Just came back from a business trip of 2,000 km. Still need to put bread on the table, what with the inflation rate and the children education. Guess another few stents insertion will take place before I retire. Having the opportunity to zero into a you tube recommendation ( thank you so much) ...

I believe it is the universal accumulation of the past performance. I believe it is more than just a closing. I believe it has some app...

How did u alter your digestive system? Seek the advice of a doctor immediately . Time is of the essence. Do not waste time on alternative medicine and / or complementary medicine as yet.
When all else fail.. . The seek for complimentary medicine,
Nothingnto do with tai chi.

Dear Pasek, Oh, that ring. The simple analogy of that ring is that it is used to tie the red and green ribbon. Why red and why green? god knows. Maybe some clan uses these color to identify themselves and also a risk management thingi. They don't slash their own kind in battles. As for red... it cou...

Re: Yang Family Dao Questions
Hi all, Spoke to some of my See heng on the purpose of the rings and one logical answer was that the rings acts as a loud frightener during battle.instead of a basic swish.. It creates a very clinking noise when one swing the Dao. On a lighter side, the rings were used to display the number if kill....

Luo Hua Shi - Falling Flower. ZMQ is a short guy, thus, doing six of the falling flower he still has lots of room to maneuver. For us 5 is enough....6 will see us having our back hitting the wall or a cut on our back. Imagine executing six and moving on to You Nu Chuan Suo. (not much power to pierce...

Re: PUSH HANDS BEFORE FORM??????
Hi Bob and Audi, Thank you for the waving clouds. Read through the "chicken and Egg" of pushing hands and weather we should do it first or last and ended up with more confusion. It really is a confusing subject (tai Chi) and all the time I believe in the mystical properties of this exercise...
