16 Posture Form

Post by Charla Quinn »

Jeremy Blodgett mentions a "16 Posture Form" in his article in the most recent TCC journal (p.7). Is this significantly different from the 13 posture form? Will you be offering it?
Thanks

I have heard of these forms, too, through a Wu family friend of mine who told me that there were now 16 posture forms of each of the major five families styles, so that students could learn each of them and decide on their own which style suited them the best.
The way I heard it, five representatives of the families got together and worked on these forms. I heard that it was one of Master Ma's group who worked on the Wu form, that GM YZD had worked on the Yang form. I didn't hear who else was there for the other families.
Anyway, I also would be interested in hearing more about these forms, what there make up is, who is teaching them, that kind of thing. You said there was a mention in an article? That's more than I've seen in writing about this.
