For whatever its worth, I think that “Mang Fu Ha San” is Cantonese and corresponds to Mandarin “Meng3 Hu3 Xia4 Shan1” (“Fierce Tiger Descends Mountain”).

I should probably amend that by saying that it's practitioner, not style, that determines ultimate skill on a per-player basis.

The reference here should be taken in the context that most early Tai Chi Chuan texts went out of their way to contrast Nei Gong and Wai Gong.
