Greetings from The Netherlands,
I came accross a website of a certain chinese actor, who has starred in a TV series called TAI CHI MASTER. Since the plot is a free interpretation of Yang Lu Chan's life, I thought it may be interesting to post the link (the site features some nice trailers too!):

But no English subtitles...woe is me!
Thanks though, looks like it'd be fun to watch even w/out subtitles.

This TV series was edited down to a 90-minute "movie" with English subtitles, and released on DVD in 2003. I liked it.

Thanks, do you know what it was called? A quick Google search is only turning up that Jet Li movie "The Tai Chi Master" from 2003, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

The present protagonist is Jackie Wu (Wu Jing). He appeared in a few Tai Chi leading roles (Chen shi taijiquan) with his movie teacher.
