On the old board when we were discussing leverage you talked about a steelyard and gave a link to information about it.
Last night on PBS was a show that visited a Chinese herbal shop and the herbalist was weighing herbs for a prescription on a hand-held version of the steelyard. In was sort of a steel foot. It was very interesting.
