Hi Bob,
I’m glad you liked my post. I think I was able to write about it because those are things I myself am working on right now. I find that I can often write well about things I can’t do yet. I guess what I’m trying to say is: I’m still trying to learn how to do these things; I’m still a student. Writing is one of the ways I teach myself what I need to learn. Besides, I'm not sure I know how to fight my way out of a wet paper bag yet!
Also, regarding the Tao Te Ching—I don’t know it well at all! But I remembered it had some sections on mastery so I scanned the text until I found some things that spoke to me.
But as far as inspiration goes, you’ve inspired me as well to be more open about who I am and what I’m about. I read your post on the “my story” forum and have been working on my own version.
