Yang Family Tai Chi Discussion Board

On last Association´s Journal, Master Yang Jun tells on his "President´s Letter", that Yang Fukui, after learning martial arts from Chen family for eighteen years, competed at Beijing´s "Duanwangfu" and received the title of "Yang the invincible".
I have search on Google about "duanwangfu", but the only thing I found was something relative to an Engineering College.
Now, was "duangwangfu" some traditional fight challenge or somenthing?

I believe duanwangfu 端王府 refers to a place in Beijing, so named because it was once the location of the princely household (王府) of the Manchu royal family member Prince Duan 端. It's said that Yang Luchan was hired by Prince Duan to teach wushu in his household, and that there were competitions among various martial artists there.

Perhaps others have additional details. I'll see if I can find more detail.
