hi i'd like to know if there is anywhere to get a sabre video that is the same as the yang family teaches. id like to start working on one till i can get to a seminar and get the corrections. thanks for all the help

I don't know if it's exactly the same as the one taught by the Yang family, but Wen Mei-Yu has released a very good instructional series (2 tapes) on "Traditional Yang Style Knife" (sabre) available through Unique Publications. The ads are in Inside Kung Fu magazine, or at

Page 30 of Vol. 25 No. 1 of T'ai Chi magazine advertises Yang Zhen Duo's Saber
Video. Let me know if you are not a subscriber and need more details. I plan to buy the video myself, but have not yet gotten around to it.

Bob and Audi,
I have seen the video that Audi mentions and think that it is worth investing in. It is good production and will help you with the traditional sabre form. The sword form video is also worth getting.
