Historical question: Chen Hsiu Feng?
Can anyone on this board tell me more about a disciple of Yang Lu-chan named Chen Hsiu Feng? He is mentioned in T. T. Liang's book "Tai Chi for Health and Self Defense". From the story there, it seems like he was one of Yang's better disciples, and was wondering why we haven't heard of any modern practicioners coming down from him. Any information would be much appreciated.

Chen Hsiu Feng was a person mentioned in some Yang family stories. He was described as having achieved a high level of skills. In one story, he motivated the Yangs to improve their skills after the passing of Yang Lu Chan. Chen did not leave any students or published materials (that I am aware off).
An interesting note is that Wan Ling Tan (another noted student of Yang Lu Chan) was also described as playing a similar role.
