Hi Jerry,

At the top left of these pages is a nice drawing of YCF in 'Snake Creeps Down.' What is written on the back of the drawing? It bleeds through a little in the image and I can't quite make it out.

Thanks,

David J

I scanned the drawing in from a copy of Fu Zhongwen's book. It's possible you are seeing some text from the page behind the picture, though I can't see it myself. Of course there also is a dotted line and an arrow in the figure showing the movement of the left hand. And all the YCF drawings in Fu's book use a convention to show whether the feet are flat, touching toe only, heel only etc. This is explained in the book and is included in Louis' translation, I believe.

HI Jerry,

You wrote, in part, > It's possible you are seeing some text from the page behind the picture, <

That's it. What I see is the backwards text from the previous page.

Thanks,

David J
