kids and standing in postures

In the perspective of children's training I asked myself what standing posture from Yang style is the most suitable for them? I mean - more comfortable, easier, less demanding?
Personally I stand in different postures for a comparatively short time. During such a practice I noticed that standing with the weight on one leg sometimes may produce an uncomfortable feeling in the kidneys. Is it only my experience? Why does this happen?
I would be very thankful if you share your experiences about standing in whatever Yang stale postures.
Thank you.
