One of my Chinese teachers translated this from a book from China on Taijiquan and acupuncture channels.

"Just do it' and you'll get all the benefits!

Because Taiji is an aerobic exercise, it allows for good and necessary amounts of oxygen intake to counterbalance our significant consumption of fat.
Any book mentions about breathing and oxygen intake are on the right track. The consumption of fat means energy has been generated by the cells inside the body. It makes the body functions as a whole. BTW IMMHO Individual move is not really related to a particular organ. It makes the body function as a whole. If one wants to believe in the former is fine, but the latter is what has been taken place.

At the beginning of the practice, Tai Chi will scan the body to see whether there is a place need to have repair work done or not. If yes, the body will start the repair. If not, the body will enhance all the functions of the body.

Have fun in your practice. :)
