Angela, My Tai Chi teacher, Poon Wok Wing, has always emphased the need to begin and end in the same place. As long as you are within a stride or so it's quite ok. 64 Form
Searching for information concerning the 64 form. Sometimes called the BaQua form for it is practiced in the eight directions and 64 Hexagrams. Yang Jian Hao is credited with it's creations.
